In another blazing fire in Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County, Shabana FC continued with a wonderful win by lynching Nairobi City Stars 2-1.
The glamour boys got an open goal in the second half in the 51st minute when Keith Imbali, with the assist of Brian Michira, sired the magician and gave the lead.
The lynched boys did not find an escape route after, as in the 70th minute, when Darius Msagha found the net with the assist of alias Lastborn Austine Odongo, bringing the game to 0-2 in favour of the ’’Tore Bobe Boys.”
Currently, the relegated bound Nairobi City Stars FC rank 18, having played 28 games and gained 24 points in the Kenya Premier League, while Shabana FC holds 4th position with 46 points, playing 28 games.
Shabana FC coach Peter Okidi maintained that the game plan worked.
“Our game plan worked, and the boys played well. I said everyone should win his games, and I thank fans for the good fight.”
Franklin O’michoki told Voicenews.africa that fans have been so vital in the winning of Shabana games.
‘’ Shabana fans we are just amazing. we have stood with our boys’ home and away and we shall continue to let our boys glow and splash fire everywhere.’’
He added, ‘’ We have only one last agenda now in Bosongo town just to crush and cremate Gor Mahia. it’s a wake-up call and it shall never be business as usual.’’
The Simba wa Nairobi head coach Salim Babu owned the mistake his boys committed and vowed to work hard in the future.
‘’We lost concentration in the center back, we lost morale we tried attacking yes, we have lost, we forgot ourselves we did substitutions but it never worked we conceded.’’
