”Stop Politics Mr Uhuru,” Mwaura tells former President Uhuru

Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has called on retired presidents to refrain from interfering with the operations of the sitting government, emphasizing the need for harmony and national unity.

Speaking on the matter, Mwaura noted that former heads of state should allow the current administration to execute its mandate without disruption. He urged retired leaders to adopt a more supportive role, focusing on constructive contributions to society rather than engaging in active political disputes.

The spokesperson further highlighted the importance of maintaining open and respectful communication channels in the event of any disagreements, stating that conflicts should be addressed through proper dialogue.

Mwaura also pointed to examples of other retired presidents who have remained influential by participating in community development and other meaningful initiatives, without interfering in governance.

His remarks come amid ongoing public discourse on the role of former leaders in shaping the country’s political landscape.

Speaking to journalists earlier today at Harambee Annex in Nairobi,Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has issued a stern warning to school administrators over the illegal charging of additional fees.

Mwaura cautioned teachers against using delays in government capitation as an excuse to demand extra payments from parents and guardians, emphasizing that the government had already disbursed funds last term before learners resumed school.

He further revealed that an additional 23.4 billion shillings was released at the start of this term, ahead of school reopening, to facilitate smooth operations in learning institutions.
